Beetroot/each

Beetroot is a root vegetable that is round or oval in shape. It’s typically a rich, dark red or purple color. It has fairly tough and smooth skin, while the inside is firm and crunchy when raw, becoming softer when cooked. Beetroot has a unique taste that can be described as sweet and earthy.

Enjoy beetroot raw in salads, juiced, pickled or cooked by roasting, boiling or steaming.

Store fresh beetroot in a plastic bag in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator.
