Bananas/each

Bananas are a yellow, tropical fruit, with a long, bent shape. Bananas taste sweet and creamy with subtle notes of tartness. Cavendish, or dessert, bananas are most commonly eaten fresh, though they may be fried or mashed and chilled in pies or puddings, blended into smoothies or even as toppings on your cereal bowl. They may also be used to flavour muffins, cakes, or breads.

Bananas produce a gas that will ripen other nearby fruit quickly. Store bananas at room temperature; they will go black in the refrigerator.
